European Football Results: Unstoppable Bayern reach seventh heaven


Juventus retained their lead at the top of Serie A with a 2-0 win at Bologna, but Roma finally got back to winning ways to keep pace in second spot.

Goals from Arturo Vidal and Giorgio Chiellini secured the win for Juve and Paolo Bandini’s recommendation of them to win without conceding at 2.25. Roma secured a good result with a 2-1 win over Fiorentina, but Napoli fell further behind after a 3-3 home draw with Udinese.

Juventus are 1.25 to retain their title, with Roma at 5.50 and Napoli at 15.00.


Borussia Dortmund are now well behind Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, after suffering a home defeat to second-placed Bayer Leverkusen.

A goal from Heung-Min Son gave the visitors the win to keep them within four points of a Bayern side that romped to a 7-0 away win at Werder Bremen, which easily brought home Raphael Honigstein’s tip of over 3.5 goals at 2.08. A testament to the attacking options available to Pep Guardiola was the fact that six players got on the scoresheet, which added to an own goal, put the champions in seventh heaven.

Bayern Munich are now in to just 1.03 to win the league, with Leverkusen now the same price as Dortmund at 20.00.


There was more change at the top in Ligue 1 this week as Lille’s impressive run of form came to an end with a 1-0 defeat against Bordeaux.

Monaco took advantage to move up to second with a 1-0 home win against Ajaccio, but still trail Paris St-Germain, who thrashed Sochaux 5-0 as Zlatan Ibrahimovic added two more goals to his season’s tally - as predicted by Julien Laurens at odds of 3.50.

PSG are 1.10 to win Ligue 1, with Monaco at 7.50 and Lille at 25.00.
