Arsenal 1.30 The Draw 5.25 Montpellier 10.50
The Gunners can take a giant leap towards qualification at The Emirates on Wednesday as they host Montpellier in this vital Group B fixture.
The visitors are playing for pride having mustered just one point from their four games so far, but Arsenal are in a three horse race at the top of the group, with seven points to Olympiakos' six, while Schalke are kings of the castle on eight.
Former Montpellier man Olivier Giroud leads the scorers market at 4.50 to open proceedings, while in-form Theo Walcott is 2.60 to net at any time. For the French champions, ex-Portsmouth livewire John Utaka could be worth a low-risk stake at 18.00 for the first goal of the night.
Arsenal will be buzzing after their derby drilling of Spurs on Saturday, but Montpellier are making a tame attempt at defending their own Ligue 1 title, and significantly Rene Girard's troops haven't won in their last six away trips. They will take some breaking down, though, as the corresponding fixture - when Arsenal struck a late winner - proved. Whack some smart money on a draw at half time/Arsenal at full time at tasty odds of 4.30.
Score prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Montpellier at 12.50.
Schalke 1.42 The Draw 4.50 Olympiakos 7.50
Schalke have been something of a surprise package in this Champions League campaign, demonstrating a high tempo and level of organisation that suggests they could be a decent dark horse bet for the entire tournament; now available at 50.00.
Huub Stevens' side currently top Group B with two games remaining, and though Olympiakos will arrive at the Veltins Arena with designs of their own on a last 16 place, I can't see anything beyond a home win here.
The Greeks have battled back after a poor start to the campaign which saw them beaten at home by Schalke and away at Arsenal. They've since trumped whipping boys Montpellier twice in quick succession, but are unlikely to carry such form into this, a much more daunting fixture.
Although Schalke are unbeaten in Europe so far this term, they have shipped goals in all but one of their encounters, so both teams to score at 1.75 is a good shout. But all in all, the Germans will almost certainly book their place in the last 16 on Wednesday tonight, with the on-fire Klass-Jan Huntelaar on target first at 4.00.
Score prediction: Schalke 3-1 Olympiakos at 12.50.
