Champions League Betting: Group A Tips

Dynamo Kiev 2.90  The Draw 3.30  Paris St Germain 2.40

It's a last chance saloon for the Ukranians here. Stuck on four points from as many games, they must win to keep their hopes alive going into the sixth and final round of games. PSG, meanwhile, can secure their own path to the knock-out stages with a draw in Kiev.

The cash-rich Parisians were far superior in the sides' previous Group A encounter at the Parc de Princes in September. The hosts ran put 4-1 winners that, with big money signings Ibrahimovic, Pastore and Silva all on the scoresheet.

A repeat of that scoreline tonight is priced all the way out at 50.00, though, because Kiev's record inside their national olympic sports complex stadium is traditionally formidable. That said, they were held 0-0 by group-topping Porto last time out and will start as outsiders here, even on home turf.

With PSG's Zlatan Ibrahimovic in hot form right now, it's tough to see the visitors not scoring. The big Swede is 4.25 to open the scoring and 22.00 to net a hat-trick or more.

Score prediction: Dynamo Kiev 1-1 PSG at 6.50.

Porto 1.13  The Draw 9.00  Dinamo Zagreb 18.00

A mismatch if you've ever seen one here, as group-topping Porto host Croatian champions Zagreb, who are pointless so far in Group A and are yet to even muster a goal this Champions League campaign.

Hence, the odds don't lie. Porto may have already qualified, but they'll be keen to fend off PSG for the top spot so as to avoid a stronger side in the last sixteen.

As such, they're unlikely to show any mercy to Ante Cacic's lowly side, and could rack up a cricket score in front of their home fans at the Estadio do Dragao. Over 3.50 goals is worth a shout at 2.20, while the home side to score in both halves is pretty much nailed on at 1.62.

Porto's latest attacking sensation is Colombian Jackson Martinez, who struck twice in Porto's last home Champions League game: a 3-2 win over Kiev. Back him to score a header at 5.00 or a hat-trick at 8.00.

Score Prediction: Porto 4-0 Zagreb at 10.50.
