Champions League Betting Preview: Group H Tips

SC Braga 3.25  The Draw 3.20  Manchester United 2.25

Braga gave United one hell of a fright a fortnight ago, taking a shock 2-0 lead at Old Trafford before the hosts battled back to win in dramatic fashion. United may have walked away with all three points and a maximum record of three wins out of three so far in this group, but the Portuguese side left Manchester with their dignity and will certainly have earned Sir Alex Ferguson's respect going into this game.

Jose Pesero's bright young side have won each of their four encounters aganst English opposition at home, and as such their odds are somewhat generous.

If the last match between these two is anything to go by then we're in for goalmouth action aplenty. Back over 3.5 goals at 2.95

Braga's plainly-named Brazillian forward, Alan, is enjoying something of an Indian summer in Portugal. The 33-year-old netted twice inside the first 20 minutes at Old Trafford and he's 9.00 to open the scoresheet again here.

Meanwhile, for United Chicarito - who scored the dramatic winner in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago - is likely to partner Robin Van Persie up top. Back the Little Pea to score at any time at odds of 2.95.

Score prediction: Braga 2-2 United at 12.50

CFR Cluj 2.55  The Draw 3.35  Galatasaray 2.70

On paper this is an evenly matched tie. But with home advantage and a genuine opportunity to qualify out of the group for the first time in their history, you have to fancy Cluj to take this one against a Gala side that has taken just one point from their opening three games.

That solitary point came last time out, in the reverse fixture in Istanbul, where the Turks looked shaky on a drenched surface, and only rescued a draw thanks to a late Burak Yilmaz strike. He's 3.20 to repeat the feat here.

While Gala have more established talent in their midst, Cluj are well organised, robust and in fine fettle under Pasolo Sergio. What's more, Gala haven't won away from home in Europe in almost a decade.

These sides have scored only five goals between tem this campaign, so expect a low-scoring affair - as such, under 1.5 goals at 3.35 looks a good bet.

Score Prediction: Cluj 1-0 Galatasaray at 8.75.
