Roy Hodgson placed himself firmly in the firing line of every bedroom manager as he announced his squad to travel to France to gloriously fail, I mean superbly win, the European Championship.
The Three Lions boss threw a curve ball by announcing a provisional 26-man squad. It contained just seven defenders, a massive 11 midfielders and some young kid called Marcus Rashford. Here’s how the Twitterati reacted to today’s squad.
