Not long now until the 131st FA Cup final at Wembley, where Liverpool could wrap up their second trophy of the season, adding to February's Carling Cup triumph. 

But Chelsea could also end up with two bits of silverware if they defeat the Reds and then take the Champions League trophy from Bayern Munich.

The Blues and Liverpool have had some classic encounters in recent years, as a new and bitter rivalry has emerged, so we'e dug up five of the best moments from the past seven years...

5. Chelsea 4 Liverpool 4, Champions League, 2009

A belter of a game this quarter final of the Champions League was, as Chelsea go through 7-5 on aggregate, despite the Reds notching four goals at Stamford Bridge. Look out for Fabio Aurelio's cheeky free-kick.

4. Chelsea mascot fools Gerrard, 2006

Not many people get the better of Steven Gerrard, but five-year-old Jake Nickless made the Liverpool captain look a right twit before a league game in 2006. It worked, too, as Chelsea went on to win 1-0.

3. Luis Garcia's ghost goal, Champions League, 2005

To this day, Chelsea fans are convinced the ball didn't cross the line, but Garcia's goal was given and Liverpool went on to win the Champions League after an epic final with AC Milan three weeks later.

2. Jose Mourinho makes a good impression, Carling Cup final 2005

Chelsea and Liverpool played each other five times in 2005, including twice in the Champions League and this Carling Cup grudge match. It was Mourinho's first trophy as Blues boss and he didn't take long to rub it in the faces of Reds fans.

This clash in February 2011 was supposed to be all about one man - Fernando Torres. The striker was making his first appearance for Chelsea after a £50m switch from Liverpool. But Raul Meireles stole the show with the winner...before promptly joining Chelsea himself!
