Real Sociedad v Valencia – 15:00 GMT
Both teams go into this game with similar recent records under recently appointed managers.
Real Sociedad have two points from their last four games with two defeats and a pair of draws and Valencia have three draws and a defeat under their new coach Gary Neville.
Both teams should be doing far better and this will be a game in which both coaches will believe they can win. Real Sociedad need the points to ease their relegation issues and Valencia have to start chipping away at the 13 point deficit to fourth place Villarreal.
Real Sociedad do have injury issues regarding the position of centre forward as both Agirretxe and Jonathas are likely to both be out. It might be a chance for Carlos Vela to impress coach Eusebio Sacristan and force his way back into the starting line-up in what I think is still his best position as a central striker.
For Valencia it appears they will be without the influential attacking midfielder Andre Gomes due to injury, which is a huge blow for Gary Neville, but they will have been boosted by the return to form of Alvaro Negredo who scored a midweek hat trick in a 4-0 win versus Granada in the Copa del Rey.
I believe it will be an open game due to these circumstances as both teams are desperate for all 3 points but I'm going to select a 2-2 draw.

Celta Vigo v Atletico Madrid – 19:30 GMT
Top of the table Atletico go to Celta Vigo in winning form.
Seven wins in the last eight games, conceding only two goals and also only scoring 10 emphasises exactly what sort of team Atletico are. Youngster Thomas Partey has been important of late, making a huge impact against Rayo Vallecano and Levante in recent weeks as a sub. A strong midfield player, he has taken everyone by surprise how significant his introduction to the first team has been.
In saying that, Simeone is introducing two new midfield players in this transfer window. Matias Kranevitter from River Plate and interestingly this weekend former Celta Vigo midfielder Augusto Fernandez. Will he play immediately against his former club? Knowing Simeone, I wouldn't be surprised.
Celta are going through a bit of a blip after back-to-back defeats. They are missing Nolito severely through injury and now they are having to deal with the loss of Augusto Fernandez.
Guess what result I'm going to go for? Atletico to win 1-0 and I'll probably stick with my usual goalscorer in Antoine Griezman.
