Terry Gibson's La Liga Betting: Three And Easy For Barcelona And Atletico

Barcelona v Real Sociedad - Saturday 15:00 GMT

After last week’s demolition against Real Madrid and the masterclass in attacking football versus Roma in the Champions League fixture, it is not possible to see anything other than a Barcelona victory this weekend.

I know I am stating the obvious but that is all you can do. Barca are in superb form at the moment, scoring plenty, keeping clean sheets and are now boosted by the return of the world’s best player. Can I find a reason to back Real Sociedad? No.

Despite Real Sociedad getting off to a great start under Eusebio Sacristan - who has replaced David Moyes - with a 2-0 win last time out at home to Sevilla, I just cannot see how Barcelona will fail to win comfortably. They are averaging three goals a game at home and I would imagine they will at least maintain that. It’s a 3-0 for me at the very least with the three amigos amongst the goals.

Terry’s Tips

Barcelona to win 3-0 - 6.75

Neymar to score - 1.37

Atletico Madrid v Espanyol - Saturday 17:15 GMT

Atletico have now moved up into second place above rivals Real Madrid but I believe the best is yet to come from Simeone's side.

Last week was an understated result away at Real Betis by Atleti's usual 1-0 scoreline.

They were superb in every department, apart from taking their chances. It really should have been a three or four goal margin.

An ever improving Atletico need to find somebody other than Griezmann to deliver on a regular basis in front of goal. They are working hard for each other, they understand Simeone's tactical methods and once again are the hardest team to score against in La Liga. They just need to find a successful partner for Griezmann.

Will it be Fernando Torres, Jackson Martinez, Angel Correa or Luciano Vietto? The options are there for Simeone but not one of those have grabbed the opportunity yet to be the undisputed partner for the Frenchman.

I feel however that this week they might just grab a few in front of their home fans in the Vicente Calderon. I can't see Espanyol scoring against Godin and co and expect that Atletico will have too much firepower and intensity for Espanyol to live with.

Will Torres notch his 100th goal for Atletico, it's been a pretty long wait now!

Terry’s Tips

Atletico 3-0 Espanyol - 7.50

Torres to score - 2.33
