QPR perspective: Paul Finney, IndyRs.
We have had the mother of injury crises at the start of this season, but problems are gradually clearing up. Fabio is still out, while Armand Traore is still a doubt, but elsewhere we're approaching full strength.
Our form has been woeful so far - just two points from seven games. Last season or home games kept us up, though, so we need to start picking up points at Loftus Road soon or we could be in trouble.
We've got a decent record against Everton, winning two of the last three. Our 1-0 win at Goodison last season was a great result, although they held us to a 1-1 draw in west London.
QPR to win at 3.20. We are a good side just needs that win to gel us into the side we know we can be. This is as good a weekend as any to start.
Both teams to score at 1.65. I fancy us to test Everton, but our defence hasn't been the most solid. This looks a safe bet.
Bobby Zamora to score at 3.50. The big man will lead the line for us, and has been in decent nick this term.
Score prediction: QPR 2-1 Everton (12.50)
Everton perspective: Brian Lewis, Royal Blue Mersey.
Darron Gibson, Marouane Fellaini and Tony Hibbert will definitely miss out through injury. Sylvain Distin could replace John Heitinga at the back, while the rest should remain unchanged from the draw at Wigan Athletic. New short-term acquisition Thomas Hitzlsperger is awaiting international clearance and could be in the squad.
Everton have started the season really well, the only blotch on the record the away defeat to West Brom – our only defeat in 16 league matches. Maximum points taken from Man United, Aston Villa, Southampton and Swansea, along with one from Newcastle and Wigan, see the Toffees nicely placed in fourth, playing some excellent stuff in the process. The left hand side pairing of Leighton Baines and Steven Pienaar provides a huge threat down the left, while Seamus Coleman and Kevin Mirallas have looked handy on the right. Nikica Jelavic is charged with bursting the net, and tends to do so with one touch finishes.
With QPR only recently returning to the top flight of English football, there aren't many recent games to go on. Last season, Bobby Zamora cancelled out a Royston Drenthe opener and the game finished 1-1. Everton have only won once at Loftus Road in the last quarter of a century, a 90th minute winner from Andy Hinchcliffe securing a 3-2 win in 1995. Another interesting stat sits in the dugout, with Rangers manager Mark Hughes only getting the better of counterpart David Moyes twice in 13 meetings.
Nikica Jelavic to score first at 6.00. This ine needs no explanation.
Leighton Baines to score anytime at 7.25. The England man is responsible for free kicks and penalties.
Everton/Everton HT/FT at 3.40. With QPR conceding within the first 25 minutes very regularly, this looks good value.
Score prediction: QPR 1-3 Everton (17.00)
