Arsenal 1.38, the draw 5.00, West Bromwich 8.50
Arsenal still need a point to be certain of third place while West Brom have been comfortable for some time and positive results against Manchester United and Liverpool will give them confidence here.
History might erode that confidence – the Baggies haven’t beaten Arsenal since September 2010 – and while the final day of the season can produce some odd results, it’s unlikely that this particular result market will be upset.
Best Bet: Over 3.5 goals 2.48
Score Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 West Brom 10.00
Aston Villa 2.07, the draw 3.50, Burnley 3.65
This could have been Sunday’s crucial survival clash but Aston Villa have pulled clear under Tim Sherwood while Burnley have slumped at just the wrong time. Sherwood’s men may have had Wembley on their mind during last weekend’s 6-1 capitulation but will the Clarets, with two goals in their last 11, pose any threat?
Burnley did produce a last-day shock over Spurs the last time they went down but a draw looks good value at 3.50.
Best Bet: Danny Ings to score anytime 3.25
Score Prediction: Aston Villa 1-1 Burnley 6.50
Crystal Palace 2.15, the draw 3.55, Swansea City 3.40
Palace have yet to beat Swansea in the Premier League and the last two games have finished one apiece. This is a much improved side however and last week’s victory over Liverpool leaves the Eagles as obvious favourites.
Swansea’s faint hopes of Europe have gone but Garry Monk’s team have remained potent, despite losing Wilfried Bony at the start of 2015. A third successive share of the points could be your best option.
Best Bet: Glenn Murray to score first: 6.00
Score Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Swansea City 6.75
Everton 2.33, the draw 3.50, Tottenham Hotspur 3.05
Tottenham’s poor run of results ended with a 2-0 victory over Hull and any hopes of not qualifying for Europe seem to have been dashed. That performance was hardly convincing however and an improved Everton team should edge this.
This could be one of the more entertaining games of the afternoon with plenty of side bets coming into play but Both Teams to Score looks the safest.
Best Bet: Both teams to score 1.52
Score Prediction: Everton 3-2 Tottenham Hotspur 21.00
Leicester City 1.55, the draw 4.35, Queens Park Rangers 6.00
Another game that looked nailed on for televised Survival Sunday a few weeks ago. Suddenly, Leicester are the form side with one defeat in eight while QPR capitulated and are likely to finish bottom.
An interesting side battle takes place between England’s new strikers Jamie Vardy and Charlie Austin but the Leicester man should come out comfortably on top.
Best Bet: Jamie Vardy to score anytime 2.75
Score Prediction: Leicester City 2-1 Queens Park Rangers 7.50
Manchester City 1.52, the draw 4.45, Southampton 6.25
Southampton aren’t giving up hopes of an automatic place in the Europa League and with Spurs looking vulnerable at Everton, Ronald Koeman’s men have everything to play for.
This should certainly be tighter than the odds suggest and the draw looks exceptional. The final day also throws up some freak results – these sides have produced 16 in their last four games combined so you may as well make it a high scorer.
Best Bet: Over 3.5 goals: 2.15
Score Prediction: Manchester City 3-3 Southampton 33.00
Stoke City 3.45, the draw 3.60, Liverpool 2.10
Liverpool have won the last three meetings between these two sides, including a 5-3 at the Britannia last season. The Reds have yet to cement an automatic European place and will be determined to finish on a positive yet form shows one win – against QPR – in their last six.
The Britannia isn’t an ideal place to come on the back of that record and having despatched a similarly lacklustre Spurs here two weeks ago, the Potters look good value at 3.45.
Best Bet: Mame Biram Diouf to score anytime 3.45
Score Prediction: Stoke City 2-1 Liverpool 10.50
