Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger sees Barcelona youngster Sergi Samper as the perfect long-term replacement for Mikel Arteta, and is set to step up his attempts to sign the 20-year-old.

Is he good? Well he’s a young midfielder schooled at Barcelona so he’s bound to be. Samper would be an interesting addition and would draw comparisons with Cesc Fabregas.
