Serg-ing To The Baggies
Arsenal’s German youngster Serge Gnabry being lined up for a six-month loan switch to fellow Premier League side West Bromwich Albion, with the deal set to go through before the Baggies’ Premier League opener against Manchester City on Monday.
He needs football. He does. The German winger did enjoy a prolonged spell in the team in 2013/14, but injuries and the form of others means he now needs to look elsewhere.

A Right Charlie
Tottenham are finally ready to complete a £15m move for QPR forward Charlie Austin, who has had to be patient as he waits for a move back up to the Premier League.
A good move? It seems it, and it would be great to see Austin in an old school partnership with Harry Kane – that’s if Kane stays of course…
Kane & Able?
Because the rumour linking Manchester United with a move for Kane has cropped up again on the eve of the new season, and it isn’t an attempt to unsettle him before the season opener at Old Trafford on Saturday of course…
Of course. This one would seem very unlikely, not least because of United’s interest in others and Kane’s outright joy at playing for Spurs. He’ll stay there.
Bye Bye Borini
Liverpool are finally close to offloading Fabio Borini to Fiorentina, having met with the Serie A club’s officials at their friendly with Chelsea last night.
It’s about time he left. It is. He needs a move for more first-team football having seen his career stall at Anfield, and Serie A could inspire him again.
Fer Away From A Move
Leroy Fer’s move from QPR to Sunderland is off after he failed a medical for the second time in his career – the first coming at Everton two years ago.
Hmm. It’s a strange one. Fer has obviously shown his ability during his Premier League career, but it would appear that something isn’t quite right with him.
