Heading Inter Liverpool?
Liverpool are ready to exploit money problems at Inter Milan for a second time in recent years and have made a £15.2m bid for the Croatian international Mateo Kovacic, who they hope will follow the trail blazed by Philippe Coutinho when he moved between the clubs in January 2013.
Is Kovacic a similar type of player? No, he’s more defensive than Coutinho, and at just 21 years old could be viewed as a long-term replacement for the departed Steven Gerrard.

Play Me Or Lose Me
As he enters the final year of his contract at Manchester United, Robin van Persie is seeking assurances of his role in Louis van Gaal’s plans before committing his future to the club. The 31-year-old endured a frustrating campaign in 2014/15 and has been linked with moves to Fenerbahce and Juventus.

Arsene Wenger is closing in on the £25m Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, who he believes will be able to add some more steel to the Gunners midfield alongside the impressive Francis Coquelin in 2015/16.
Is he worth it? Having been put to the sword by Kondogbia in the Champions League this season Wenger will certainly say so, and the Frenchman’s energetic displays could be just what the Gunners need.

Jose Mourinho looks set to confirm that he didn’t watch any of Manchester United’s matches last season by completing a £25m move for the Colombian forward Radamel Falcao, who flopped at Old Trafford when on loan from Monaco in 2014/15.
Eh? Yep, surprised us too. Mourinho needs another forward to fill the Didier Drogba-sized hole at Stamford Bridge, and apparently Falcao fits the bill.

Ayew, Come Here
Tottenham are leading the chase to sign the talented Ghana winger Andre Ayew this summer, with the 25-year-old declaring that he would like to move to the Premier League after his contract with Marseille expires.
A good addition? He would be. Ayew would add to the ranks at White Hart Lane and provide more goals in a side who won’t just want to be relying on Harry Kane next season.
