Jermain Defoe has apparently made it known that he is unhappy at Sunderland following the appointment of new manager Sam Allardyce, and he’s eyeing a January loan move to Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth.
The veteran forward scored 19 goals during a season-long loan at the Cherries in 2000/01, and was close to joining them just before the closure of the transfer window.
