Mauro To Merseyside?
Reports in Italy claim that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has identified Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi as the man to replace the struggling Christian Benteke, with a £19m deal for the Argentina international lined up for the summer.
The 22-year-old has netted eight times this season and found the net 22 times in Serie A in 2014/15, with Klopp seeing him as the perfect man to solve Liverpool’s goalscoring woes.

Oumar On His Way?
Staying on Merseyside, Everton are poised to complete a deadline day deal for the Senegal striker Oumar Niasse, with the Lokomotiv Moscow man apparently undergoing his medical this afternoon.
Niasse has found the net 13 times for the Russian club this season, and would add to the striking ranks at Goodison Park for the remainder of the season, perhaps paving the way for Romelu Lukaku to leave in the summer.

No Go Diego
One forward who definitely won’t be on the move on deadline day, though, is Diego Costa.
The Chelsea forward has apparently been the subject of a bid from former club Atletico Madrid, who were willing to throw in Jackson Martinez as part of the deal, but Blues boss Guus Hiddink has rejected it.
