Reports in Italy claim that both Liverpool and Manchester United are eyeing up a move for the Palermo playmaker Franco Vazquez, who could be available for around £23m according to the club’s president.
The 26-year-old Vazquez has shone this season despite Palermo enduring a difficult campaign, with his three goals and six assists catching the eye.
A summer move is considered more likely for the Argentina-born midfielder, who made his Italy debut in a 1-1 friendly draw with England last March.
