Bye Bye Borini

Liverpool are set to finally cut their ties with Italian forward Fabio Borini, who is edging closer to a return to his homeland with Lazio a year after rejecting moves to Sunderland and QPR.

It’s about time. Well you can’t blame Borini for wanting to stay and prove himself at Anfield last year, but it just hasn’t happened for him.

Another day, another Sergio Ramos story. The centre-back is reportedly furious with his club Real Madrid and is demanding that they let him speak to suitors Manchester United.

Will it ever happen? It seems to have been rumbling on forever, but United obviously believe they have a chance of landing their man. Watch this space.

Will he go? He shouldn’t do. Cazorla probably had his best season at Arsenal in 2014/15 and will be a key player in the upcoming campaign.

Robin van Persie has rejected a move to Turkish side Besiktas, as the 31-year-old weighs up his options over whether or not to leave Manchester United.

Can he get a better move? His wage demands might price himself out of one, but the Dutchman still has a few options and would be an attractive asset for many.
