Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho, who has had more links to Arsenal than the Piccadilly Line, has talked up a potential move to the Gunners according to reports over the weekend.

The Sporting Lisbon midfielder said:

“I prefer not to say too much, but there is a club with which I've always been fond of: Arsenal. Because of Thierry Henry, a player with whom I have always enjoyed watching.

“Maybe this is why I look with so much affection to the Premier League.”

Another Portuguese midfielder who could be heading to the Premier League is Porto’s Ruben Neves, who apparently appears high on the wanted list of new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
