Transfer News Today: Man Utd Star Lined Up For Everton Move

Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick is out of contract in the summer, and is being lined up for a free transfer move to Everton by Blues manager Roberto Martinez.

Carrick, 34, has been told that he won’t be offered a new deal by United, and is believed to be tempted by the idea of ending his career at Goodison Park.

United play Everton next Sunday, and are 2.00 to win


Liverpool Move For Lucas


Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to revamp his strike force next season, and he’s believed to be eyeing up a move for the Argentinean forward Lucas Alario.

The 23-year-old has shone for River Plate this season, and Klopp is believed to be readying an offer of around £9.5m for his services in the summer.

Willems Winging His Way To Manchester?

Manchester City scouts were in attendance at the Netherlands’ friendly with France on Friday night, with the PSV Eindhoven left-back Jetro Willems believed to be the player they were watching.

Willems, 21, would add some much needed youth on the left side of City’s defence, where Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov have looked a little stale this season.

City are 1.95 to win at Bournemouth next Saturday
