No Go Pedro?
Manchester United’s top target Pedro could yet escape the Red Devils’ clutches after he was included in Barcelona’s squad for the European Super Cup tie with Sevilla.
And in a second blow to Louis van Gaal’s side, Marca report that Manchester City are now sniffing around the wide man as United still stall on a deal.
What’ll happen? At this rate he’ll probably stay at Barcelona, but United might speed up the process once they get rid of a couple of their squad players.
Lucas Leiva’s Liverpool career looks like it’ll end pretty soon, with the Brazilian no longer inclined to stick around at Anfield as a squad player and pushing for a move to Inter Milan.
Will they replace him? Probably not. Emre Can’s long-term future is surely at the base of midfield, whilst Brendan Rodgers also has the likes of Joe Allen, Jordan Henderson and James Milner to call upon.

We Need To Talk About Kevin, Again
Manchester City are again reportedly close to clinching a deal for Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne, who is closing in on a £47m switch.
We’ve heard this somewhere before. Quite. De Bruyne seems to have been on the verge of this move all summer, but he’s certainly worth the effort.
From Lyon To The Lane
Lyon’s 21-year-old attacker Clinton N’Jie is the latest name linked with Tottenham as they bid to increase their firepower. Cameroon forward N’Jie has lightning pace and would act as a foil for Harry Kane.
They need one of those. Yep. Spurs need a bit of pace injected into their side, and N’Jie would fit the bill.
