Transfer News Today: Manchester United Flop Set For Cut-Price Exit

Exit Door

The Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha – Sir Alex Ferguson’s final signing for the club – is set to seal a permanent move back to Crystal Palace for less than half of the £15m United paid for him in 2013. Zaha has made only four appearances for United, and gone on loan spells to Cardiff and Palace.

Well that went well. Quite. Zaha looked overpriced when United signed him and a move would now seem best for all concerned.

Italy? Exactly. Not sure why they’d be first to know, but the news will doubtless be welcomed by United fans who would love to see the Spanish stopper stay in front of the Stretford End.

Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko has again courted interest from Paris Saint-Germain, by again claiming that he would love to play for the club.

Getting a bit desperate? Just a bit. Sissoko is a fine midfielder and needs to focus on playing well for Newcastle, especially now John Carver has been confirmed as boss until the end of the season.
