Transfer News Today: Nathaniel Clyne To Complete Liverpool Move TODAY

In-Clyned To Go

Nathaniel Clyne will become a Liverpool player later today.

What’s the fee? £12.5million. Southampton wanted £15million but it appears the clubs have compromised. Clyne will complete a medical on Monday follow Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren on the well-trodden path between Southampton and Merseyside.

You can still bet on Clyne's next club here!

Turan To Chelsea?

Arda Turan has admitted his agent is in talks with three or four clubs over a possible exit from Atletico Madrid, with Chelsea believed to be leading the way.

Who else are interested? Barcelona, PSG and Manchester United are all believed to be interested in signing Turan, who looks increasingly likely to leave Atletico this summer. With Oscar being chased by Juventus and Cuadrado yet to impress in a Chelsea shirt, Mourinho is understandably keen to hire Turan.

Hammer Falls

Meanwhile, Liverpool are preparing to sell outcast striker Fabio Borini to West Ham for £8million.

The start of an exodus? Quite possibly. Fellow strikers Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli are reportedly set to be released and some others could follow. For West Ham, however, this is another signing that will further bolster their impressive attacking options.

Manchester fight for Ramos

Manchester City have joined rivals Manchester United in the race to sign Real Madrid’s want away defender Sergio Ramos.

What’s the latest? United have reportedly had a second offer for Ramos rejected after their first bid of £28.5million was rejected. With United also playing hardball over David De Gea, it is believed friction between the two clubs is growing and City are hoping to steal in ahead of their rivals.

Getting Close

It appears Andrea Pirlo’s much talked about move to New York City FC is close to being agreed.

When will it go through? Reports suggest Pirlo is ready to sign an 18-month contract with the option of a further year as soon as this week. If Pirlo signs, it is believed the Italian could make his debut against Orlando City, a game which could have Pirlo, Frank Lampard, David Villa and Kaka on the field. Not bad.
