Could Spurs Go Big For Reds Star?
Daniel Sturridge hasn’t had the greatest of seasons in a red shirt and is struggling to make any impact on Jurgen Klopp’s side this term.
The England man has gone from one of the club’s most important players to a bit part figure, usually consigned to appearances from the bench, thanks to the form of Liverpool’s electrifying front three.
One team supposedly sniffing round the Three Lions striker is Stoke. The Potters have not been scared to invest in recent year but their Chairman moved quickly to distance the club from any deal. However, it is believed that Tottenham are more keen and could be ready to test the water in January. The player himself is not too keen but surely he may have to move in the very near future?
Schlupp Keen To Become A Baggie
West Brom tried tirelessly to sign Jeffrey Schlupp in the summer but neither the player or his club, Leicester, wanted to make the move happen. Schlupp believed he could still have an impact at the champions and the Foxes did not want to lose a reliable squad man.
However, that has all changed, with the ex-Brentford flyer now eager to get away from the King Power, and he sees the Baggies as the perfect solution.
The move would not require the 23-year-old to uproot and would pretty much guarantee him a starting berth on the left hand side. Fees of around £11m are being discussed in a transfer that makes sense all round.
Arsenal And Tottenham To Be Bullied By Leipzig
Red Bull Leipzig have certainly announced themselves on the European stage with their stunning form in the Bundesliga, where they find themselves second to Bayern Munich on goal difference alone, and without a defeat all season.
Part of their great form has been former Nottingham Forest winger Oliver Burke, who has excelled since his switch to Germany. It seems the controversial club are now set to snare another British prospect in the shape of Ademola Lookman.
The Charlton star is already a key part of the Addicks side at the age of 19 and both Arsenal and Tottenham are very keen on his signature. However, RB Leipzig are more than willing to open up with a bid well in excess of £10m, a figure that will likely be enough to fend off Premier League interest in a fairly unknown quantity.
