Juventus - Palermo
There might yet come a moment when Juventus wobble, and become vulnerable in their hold on first place. But not this weekend.
The Bianconeri have kept six clean sheets in their last seven games - the most of any team in Europe’s top five leagues since the start of 2017. Palermo have failed to score against them in any of their last nine head-to-head meetings, and own the second-least prolific attack in the division this season. Oh, and the game is being played at J-Stadium, where the hosts have won 28 in a row.
Home team to win without conceding - 1.57
Atalanta - Crotone
Papu Gomez celebrated his 29th birthday on Wednesday with fireworks in his back yard. He has provided plenty on the pitch in recent weeks; only Gonzalo Higuaín can boast more than his six Serie A goals so far in 2017.
With time running out to rescue themselves from relegation, Crotone cannot afford to simply sit back and close up shop. But throwing men forwards entails significant risk. They have already conceded 23 times in 12 away games.
Gomez to score - 2.60
Empoli - Lazio
A thigh injury to the in-form Sergej Milinković-Savić could spell bad news for Lazio in what has become a furiously competitive chase for Serie A’s European places. His likely midfield replacement, Senad Lulic, is an excellent player, but offers a very different interpretation of the role and less attacking thrust from midfield.
Empoli, grinding their way towards safety, have conceded just once in their last four home games - taking 10 points from that stretch. If they can keep this to another low-scoring match, they will give themselves a chance.
Correct score: 1-1 - 7.50
