Chievo - Sampdoria
Another Serie A club experiencing significant disparity between its results at home and away, Sampdoria are unbeaten at the Marassi but head to Chievo knowing that they have managed only a single point on their travels.
The Flying Donkeys are no longer quite such a daunting prospect as they were during the first part of this season, but their high pressing game remains effective in nullifying opponents. I suspect Eder will not add to the eight goals he has already in this campaign.
Total goals by away team: under 0.5 - 2.48
Palermo - Empoli
Paulo Dybala has not yet fully convinced Massimiliano Allegri of his qualities at Juventus, but the striker is certainly missed in Sicily. Franco Vazquez continues to pull the strings to great effect behind the attack for Palermo, but without a more ruthless strike partner, his efforts too often go to waste.
Manager Beppe Iachini is considering starting midfielder Robin Quaison up front in a bid to shake things up for this match, but in three prior such experiments the Swede is yet to score. There have been less than three goals in five out of Empoli’s last six games, so even though the odds are slimmer than I would like, I am tempted to go with the unders.
Under 2.5 goals - 1.73
