Roma 1.4, the draw 4.25, Cagliari 8.0
Throughout the course of Roma’s 10-game winning streak, pundits argued that the real test of Rudi Garcia’s team would be how they responded to an eventual defeat. We still have not yet reached that point, but in the meantime we wait to see how they will react after consecutive drawn games.
That reaction will not feature Roma’s talisman Francesco Totti whose hamstring injury is likely to keep him out until the middle of December. Striker Marco Borriello faces a late fitness test, but Federico Balzeretti should return after recovering from a muscular complaint.
The Giallorossi might also be feeling the pressure that comes with being a frontrunner. Juventus have the opportunity to leapfrog Roma into first place by winning their game on Saturday. But Roma will have Gervinho – whose direct running has been sorely missed – back for this game. The home team are a good shot to win without conceding at 2.3.
