Why it will happen: Mourinho hasn’t made too many additions of his own since re-joining the club in the summer, and is looking to add some steel to his midfield.
Why it won’t happen: Chelsea are already overflowing with midfielders. Marco van Ginkel, Kevin de Bruyne, John Obi Mikel, Michael Essien and even Juan Mata are not even first choices under Mourinho.
