Rumours today suggest that Carlo Ancelotti’s PSG are set to move for Luka Modric. The big-spending French giants have just sealed a double move for Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic from AC Milan, but Modric, though certain to leave White Hart Lane, is thought to prefer a move to Spain.

He’s thought to have been offered a three-year £30,000 a week contract at The Madjeski Stadium.

Italy striker Fabio Borini looks set to become Brendan Rodgers’ first signing at Liverpool. A £10million fee has been agreed with Roma for the 21-year-old, who previously worked with the Reds boss at Chelsea and Swansea.
