Talk is rife that Liverpool's summer of spending could continue with the signing of Barcelona forward Cristian Tello. Tello has a buyout clause of €10million written into his Barca contract, and Liverpool head a list of several clubs that are ready to meet that price. One to keep an eye on.

Tottenham have reportedly agreed a £17million deal for Brazil star Paulinho. The Corinthians midfielder is currently in Brazil for the Confederations Cup so the deal will not be finalised until after the tournament, but Corinthians’ Director of Football and former Arsenal player Edu, confirmed a deal had almost been reached. He said: "We have to agree on some details of the negotiation, so I can’t say he will leave yet, but the negotiations are good."

Wayne Rooney could yet join Chelsea this summer, with Arsenal also in the running to sign the 27-year-old. Rooney will discuss his Manchester United future with David Moyes next week, but the two London clubs are waiting in the wings to sign the England striker. Rooney is believed to favour a move to Stamford Bridge to work under Jose Mourinho. Rooney is 5.00 to join Chelsea with Unibet.

Former France coach Laurent Blanc is in talks to become the new Paris Saint-Germain coach. Their first choice, Andre Villas-Boas, snubbed them and Fabio Capello wasn't interested either, so it appears PSG with go with their 'Plan C'. The former Manchester United defender denies there is a deal in place, but with Carlo Ancelotti itching for a move to Real Madrid and pre-season just around the corner, PSG’s increasingly desperate search for a new boss is close to reaching a conclusion.
