Chelsea are in pole position to sign 16-year-old West Brom rising star Isaiah Brown.

Brown is wanted by both the Blues and Arsenal, but Chelsea look set to land the striker, who became the second-youngest player in Premier League history in May. The west Londoners have been in talks with Brown’s representatives for some time over a switch to Stamford Bridge.

Tabloid speculation

Yohan Cabaye could be on his way to Paris Saint-Germain, after it was revealed they are preparing a £20million bid for the Frenchman, reports in France suggest.

Cabaye has been a big hit at St James’s Park and Monaco are also in the running to sign the former Lille man, but new PSG coach Laurent Blanc is an admirer of the central midfielder and the pair have a good relationship following Blanc’s time as coach of the France national team.

Come and get me

Wolves winger Bakary Sako has pleaded with Wolves to let him hold talks with Fulham over a potential move to Craven Cottage.

New Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is overseeing a clear out at Molineux to lower the wage bill since the club’s relegation to League One, but they are only willing to sell star man Sako at the right price. This is what Sako had to say on the matter: “I am sad that has not happened but I gave everything and have always been respectful to the club. I was told I could speak to Fulham and now I don't understand the delay. I would like things to be sorted out. I am only being ambitious.”

In talks

Patrice Evra could make a swift return to former club Monaco, after it was revealed he has been in talks with Monaco for several weeks.

Moyes will splash around £15million on Everton’s Leighton Baines, leaving Evra out of favour. But Evra’s former club Monaco have the cash to splash and the Frenchman, who is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, would cost Monaco around £6million.
