Hot on the heels of last night's Windsor maiden win on long term ally Richard Hannon's Nisser, the farewell Richard Hughes bandwagon rolls on to Glorious Goodwood, as the denouement to a glittering career in the saddle is played out over five days on the Sussex Downs.
The mid-summer high water mark of great racing allied to a splash of catwalk-style fashion is a fantastic blend, and Unibet customers won't go short of opportunities to back a few winners as the week rolls on, hopefully with a triumphant farewell for the three-times champion Flat jockey.
'Hughesie' has a book of six rides in today's seven races, and there'll be more than a few eyebrows raised at the decision of the shrewdies in the Unibet odds compiling team, with the folks who chalk up the prices choosing to price boost the odds of every single Hughes' mount at the meeting.
Equally as enticing, they're betting on how many winners the Dublin-born maestro will ride over the course of the Festival, with less than five the 6/4 favourite, exactly five a skinny 5/2, and over five at 15/8.
Surely, given the sky high standard of racing, allied to Hughes' open skepticism about the strength of his book of rides, we ought to be snapping up the 6/4?
I hope and fully expect him to ride a winner or two as he bows out, but he could ride really well and still be looking for a bullseye come Thursday, so the less than five option looks the best call.
Whichever way that plays out we've got some terrific sport to look forward to, plus you can see the first five races live with us on Channel 4 this afternoon, so have a few wagers and settle in to enjoy the action.
In the Group 2 Qatar Vintage Stakes at 2.35pm red-hot Richard Fahey can get us off to a winning start, with his Dark Angel colt Birchwood taken to defy a penalty in the juvenile Group 2.
At the time of writing Unibet are offering 100/30 about a youngster who his trainer described yesterday as "a star".
He should handle the rain-softened ground, arriving here off the back of an impressive succcess in Newmarket's Group 2 Superlative Stakes, for which he incurred a three pound penalty.
He can shrug that off in a contest which down the years has produced both future Guineas and Derby heroes.
Fahey's current form also deserves a mention, as big race success is becoming the norm for him in 2015, the last three Saturdays yielding wins in the Bunbury Cup, Weatherbys Super Sprint, plus most recently Ascot's International Stakes.
Just 35 minutes later another trainer who can do little wrong at present bids to make his mark, as newly wed Hugo Palmer sends six-year-old Dansili gelding Ascription into battle in the Group 2 Qatar Lennox Stakes (3.10pm).
Despite the non-runners reducing this field to less than eight he's still an each way play at 7/1 with Unibet, courtesy of the firm's unique enhanced each way terms - no other bookie will lay you a third the odds the front two, effectively meaning a better than 9/4 winner if he's second.
Hopefully he isn't just playing for place money though, with significant encouragement to be taken from his excellent run at Haydock Park last time out.
That was his second spin back from a lengthy absence, and if Palmer now has him back to something approaching his 2013 peak then he's a big player.
He'll have to be sharp to deny 119-rated favourite Toormore, but don't forget that's the same Toormore who let favourite backers down when sent off at odds on for this race 12 months ago.
Last but not least, Tuesday's third Goodwood recommendation comes in the mile and three quarter Summer Stakes Handicap at 3.45pm, in which Mark Johnston holds a very strong hand, thanks to Blue Wave and Notarised.
The latter is exactly the type Johnston, another trainer currently exhibiting something akin to a midas touch, excels with - a hard as nails four-year-old - from whom the qualified vet keeps ekeing out gradual improvement.
He has won three of his last five, is an uncomplicated prominent racer, and has recent winning course and distance form.
For all of those reasons he looks a cracking each way bet at 8/1.
Tuesday's best bets with Unibet at Glorious Goodwood:
