All the stars of track and field were there; former Brazil striker Ronaldo, erm, Robbie Savage, er, Posh Spice. Ok, so it wasn't a brilliantly star-studded occasion, but the draw for the 2012 Olympics football tournament certainly had our full attention.
And for Team Great Britain it was a mixed bag, with Rotund Ronny pulling out World Cup semi-finalists Uruguay, with Suarez, Forlan and co who will surely prove to be a difficult proposition. Meanwhile, the former Real Madrid forward also added Senegal and UAE to the Group A pot.
Elsewhere, Mexico were drawn with North Korea, Gabon and Switzerland in Group B, while Group C sees Brazil take on Egypt, Belarus and World CUp surprise package New Zealand.
Which leaves Group D where world and European champions Spain face Japan, Hondurras and Morocco.
In the women's draw, Hope Powell's Team GB face a tougher test as they will take on Brazil, New Zealand and Cameroon. The South Americans boast the best player in the world in Marta, but did lose to the USA in last year's World Cup. They are still second favourites at 4.00 to win the Olympics.
The USA have France, Columbia and South Korea and are favourites to win the whoile damn thing at 3.25, despite losing to Japan in last year's World Cup final.
And the Japanese, so brilliant last year, face Canada, Sweden and South Africa and are a generous 6.00 to take home the honours.
For an outside bet, look at Sweden - routinely one of the world's best teams and unfortunate to go out last summer, they are a healthy 12.50 to win the Olympics.
