Atlanta Hawks 2.08, Toronto Raptors 1.75 – BET and WATCH live on Unibet TV from 23.35
The Toronto Raptors have flown under the NBA radar for most of this season but with eight wins out of 11 extending their lead at the top of the Atlantic Division to three games, Canada’s finest are on course for their best campaign in years.
That’s despite prior forecasts that they would miss the playoffs but a defence which is giving up only 97.2 points per night, and the two-pronged offense of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, combined with some solid depth, will be a tough cover through the opening round of the post-season at least.
The Raptors figure to be in play in the free agent market come the summer but they have a chance to set out their stall as a potential future contender with the addition of one or two pieces, a credit to the impact of first-year GM Masai Uriji.
On Tuesday, Toronto head south to face the Atlanta Hawks with the teams at 1-1 in their series following the Raptors 104-83 victory last month on their own floor.
Mired in a slump then, Atlanta has rebounded with four straight wins to move within reach of seventh place in the Eastern Conference. But each of those came against sub-.500 opponents. With Toronto motoring, back the visitors on the handicap of -5.5 or look under a total points line of 195.5, available at 2.45.
Sacramento Kings 2.00, Washington Wizards 1.82 - BET and WATCH live on Unibet TV from 02.05 GMT
The Washington Wizards are now primed in a three-way race for fourth place in the East along with Chicago and Brooklyn and with six wins from their last seven on the road, they’ll try to overtake the Nets by defeating the Sacramento Kings.
The hosts could be without DeMarcus Cousins, their leading scorer and rebounder, and with the Kings all but eliminated from playoff contention, and the Wizards fired up, back Washington at -6.5 on the handicap at 2.90.
Best bet: Back Toronto over Atlanta on the handicap of -5.5 at 2.55.
