NBA Betting: Heat v Thunder

The Heat edged out Oklahoma City 100-96 on Thursday to level the series at 1-1 and now have three games in Florida to chase the title. That victory has swung the championship odds back in Miami’s favour at 1.85 but there’s a long way to go yet. And if the Thunder can stop their rivals from building a big early run, their hopes are far from over.

The odds on OKC winning three in a row stand at 15.00 and that seems unlikely. But it’s equally hard to foresee Miami’s Big Three being able to combine for 72 points every time. In what should be another offensive duel, there’s value in looking over the points total of 194.0 in Game 3 at 1.91. Plus take a look at the fascinating duel between LeBron James and Kevin Durant: the former is averaging 27.1 points and the latter 28.

The Heat are favoured by 3.5 points to take a 2-1 lead in the Finals but don’t lose the faith in the Thunder just yet, especially when they’re a healthy 2.50 to strike back in regulation.

Elsewhere, the biggest club game in Europe this season takes place in Catalunya as FC Barcelona host Real Madrid in the fifth and deciding game of the ACB play-off finals.

We had an inkling at the outset that Real could push their rivals hard at the end of a gruelling season. And although they blew the chance to clinch the title on their home court in midweek as Erzam Lorbek hit 24 points in Barca’s 81-75 win, Madrid shouldn’t be written off despite their tag as 2.80 underdogs. Basketball’s own Super Clasico should be a tense encounter but it’s worth a flutter on going over the expected total of 150 points at 1.90.

Bet of the Day:  Take Oklahoma City to beat Miami at 2.50.
