Most of the attention on Tuesday evening will be focused on Los Angeles, with the Lakers hosting the San Antonio Spurs.
The Lakers have hired Mike D'Antoni as their new coach, but he will be under pressure from the off simply because he is not Phil Jackson. While D'Antoni and Lakers point-guard Steve Nash worked well together during their time in Phoenix, it's unsure how D'Antoni's fast-paced offense will suit the rest of the Lakers' stars.
D'Antoni won't be in charge this evening, so interim coach Bernie Bickerstaff gets one final game. With both teams evenly-matched on the court, it could come down to a coaching battle and if that's the case, Spurs' Gregg Popovich gives San Antonio the edge. Go for San Antonio to win at 1.87.
In complete contrast, Washington Wizards at Charlotte Bobcats is one game that will probably get little attention. The winless Wizards having been keeping games close, but it highlights how important the injured duo of John Wall and Nene are to this team.
Last season , Charlotte Bobcats were the team to bet against, but it's unlikely they will finish again with the worst record in the league. The improvement is in part down to the excellent form of second-year guard Kemba Walker and rookie forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
The Bobcats won't give many teams sleepless nights but they are much better at home this season. Take the Charlotte Bobcats to win at 1.85 or for a slightly higher return, go over 188.5 points total at 1.91.
Where else should you be looking? Sacramento, where the Kings host the slumping Portland Trailblazers. The Kings will have both Demarcus Cousins and Thomas Robinson back from suspension and if 1.62 for a Kings win isn't enough for you, go for the Kings to win with a -3.0 handicap at 1.91.
Finally, Indiana Pacers should beat Toronto Raptors tonight, but by how many? Raptors rarely win at Indiana and are coming off a triple overtime defeat last night at home to Utah. Indiana over a tired Toronto with -9.5 handicap, looks tempting at 1.91.
Bet of the day: Charlotte Bobcats to beat Washington Wizards at 1.85.
