Just like the other night when Memphis hosted Miami, another winning streak will come to an end when the Grizzlies head to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder tonight.
Of the Thunder's six wins this season, five have come against teams likely to miss the play-offs, while against stronger teams expected to make the post-season, the Thunder's record is 1-2. The Grizzlies' start to the season has been tougher but they are riding high after a win over Miami and although Thunder are the home team, Memphis will fancy their chances.
Memphis Grizzlies to beat Oklahoma Thunder at 2.80 is good value, as is 1.95 for Memphis to win with +5.5 handicap.
As for Miami, they head in Los Angeles tonight to face the Clippers and while the Heat have been on the road for almost a week, the Clippers have barely left town since the season started.
Add in the fact that historically Lebron James has struggled to score against the Clippers and the Heat haven't won there in 5 years, and you start to realise that everything points to a Clippers home win, available at 1.82.
On this trip, the Heat have won two close games in Atlanta and Houston, while getting beat up by Memphis. It's not great form, but the Heat know how to grind out wins and with this expected to be a close game, Miami to win at 2.01, is worth a punt.
Despite getting their first road win of the season in Toronto, the Utah Jazz will find it tougher in Boston tonight, especially as the Celtics have found a starting unit they now like. The Celtics have been better on the road, but they are due a decent home performance so worth considering is Boston with a -5.5 handicap over the Jazz at 1.91.
Finally, if you want something with longer odds, consider the New Orleans Hornets, who are 3.15 to win in Houston. Rookie sensation Anthony Davis is off to a great start and could deliver a memorable win for the Hornets.
Bet of the day: Take Memphis Grizzlies with a +5.5 handicap over Oklahoma Thunder at 1.95.
