San Antonio Spurs 1.28, Portland Trail Blazers 3.75 – BET and STREAM live on Unibet TV from 01.35

With seven straight wins, and a surge to the top of the Western Conference, the San Antonio Spurs now have another goal in mind – claiming top spot in the NBA playoff seedings.

Their recent run has given them a narrow lead over the Indiana Pacers and although San Antonio claim little importance for the regular season, they will look back to last June and wonder whether they would be sitting now as the reigning champions if only Game 7 of the NBA Finals had taken place on their own floor.

Despite their ageing roster, the Spurs know how to win and peak at the right time which means they remain terrific value at 8.50 for the title with Indiana and Miami not yet fully convincing.

Portland, with three straight defeats, no longer look capable of even getting homecourt in the first round. The over-achievers of the first half of the campaign have only matched their seasonal offensive average of 107.5 in one of their last six games.

And with Kawhi Leonard settling back in for San Antonio, back the Spurs to keep blazing their own trail on the handicap of -8.5, while going over a total points line of 214.5 at 2.15.

Miami Heat 1.20, Brooklyn Nets 4.75 – BET and STREAM live on Unibet TV from 23.35 GMT

The 2014 form of the Brooklyn Nets has been down to going small, with Paul Pierce starting at power forward for the first time in his career. It’s helped the Nets mask the loss of Brook Lopez to injury and that extra quickness may provide a test for the Miami Heat on Monday.

Brooklyn is one of only two teams to beat the champions twice this term with its last win coming after double overtime in January. And although the Heat are obdurate on their own floor, the Nets form means it’s worth a punt on the hosts at the narrow handicap of -5.5.

Best bet: Take San Antonio on the handicap of -8.5 against Portland at 2.08.
