Indiana Pacers - San Antonio Spurs
Are the Indiana Pacers cracking under the pressure? It looks like it.
The goal for the Pacers this season was to acquire the best record in the Eastern Conference, to give them the home court advantage if they met Miami Heat in the East finals this year.
After losing in Miami in game seven last season, the Pacers felt that home court advantage would crucial.
For so long they looked on course to achieve that goal but recently the Pacers keep dropping games they should be winning and now Miami is just a game behind in the standings.
Having gone 5-5 in their last 10 games, the Pacers are in serious danger of seeing all their hard work come undone and just to compound their misery, the San Antonio Spurs are in town.
They are the team that continues to deny Father Time. Just when you think their window is closed, they deliver a strong season to prove you wrong.
The Spurs are hot and not just because of the Texas weather. They come into this game riding a 17-game winning streak and although they are playing the best in the East, you have to fancy their chances of winning game number 18.
Spurs to win will get you 1.53, but for the something a little different look for the home team (Pacers) to score under 47.5 points in the first half, at odds of 1.75.
NBA Finals betting
With the Pacers floundering a little it's a good time to look at those two teams you think will make the finals as there are some good odds to be had.
With the Spurs doing well, the odds for a San Antonio-Miami Heat finals are 6.00, but then the Spurs are a team who always do well in the regular season. When it comes to the play-offs it's another matter, but Tim Duncan would love to add one more ring before he calls it a day, so this could be the year that the Spurs get back to the NBA finals.
That said, the Pacers might pull themselves together in time and you think that's the case, you can get 6.25 for an Indiana-San Antonio finals.
Best Bet: San Antonio Spurs to beat Indiana Pacers at 1.53
