Winnipeg are in a serious tailspin, losing five games in a row and throwing away their lead in the Southeast Division and play-off place in the process. The Philadelphia Flyers are on an opposite trajectory, winning four straight with their offense blazing. A week ago these two were ten points and ten places apart; now they sit side by side in the standings. Phildelphia's clicking powerplay looks extremely dangerous again and was a major factor in their wins over Winnipeg earlier in the season, the Jets' penalty kill will certainly be targeted for exploitation again. Such is the form of both clubs Philly are a great price here at 2.70.
Edmonton's winning run came to an abrupt end in Vancouver on Thursday but their goal difference over the five games before that was +18. Now lying ninth in the West, they visit reigning champion Los Angeles Kings, who look to be cruising through to the post-season with little drama. They have split the two contests up to now in 2013, both of which were low scoring. If they can shrug off that loss the Oilers could cause an upset. Way out at 3.50 I think they are worth taking on.
April has been good to the Phoenix Coyotes so far, and could get better when they host the Colorado Avalanche tonight. The Coyotes may still be in the hunt but it's been another season to forget in Denver; the Avalanche have nothing much left to motivate them. Colorado have a dreadful road record and as the Coyotes actually have something to play for, back the home side at 2.05.
Best Bet: Philadelphia Flyers to win at 2.70
