The Los Angeles Kings need one more win to be crowned Stanley Cup Champions for the first time, they're sitting pretty at 3-0 up against the New Jersey Devils and have the opportunity to seal it tonight at home. You can now get 12.50 on New Jersey performing a miraculous comeback that has only previously happened three times, and only once in the Finals in 1942 when the Toronto fought back against Detroit.
So that's the enormity of the task facing the Devils, who at the very least will want to get a win on the board to avoid the embarrassment of being swept 4-0. To be fair to them, before the game on Monday got away from them they had plenty of chances, particularly on the powerplay but they ran in to a guy determined to deny them in Jonathan Quick. The Kings goalie has only allowed 2 goals in the 3 games and at this point must be a lock to win playoff MVP. If he manages to dominate again, then odds of 2.10 on New Jersey scoring fewer than 1.5 goals is a good option.
LA have been in this situation in each of the previous rounds, only against St Louis did they finish it off in Game 4 so there is a chance for NJ to get a foothold. Odds on a Kings win tonight are 1.95 and just 1.48 including overtime, but I'm going to back the Devils to find their scoring touch and make the series more of a spectacle seeing as they are way back at 3.55.
Best Bet: New Jersey Devils to win in regulation at 3.55
