NHL Betting: Rangers v Capitals and Kings v Blues

The Los Angeles Kings showed again that they came to play in this postseason with an impressive win in St Louis against the Blues. LA are 4-0 in away games during these playoffs against the two highest seeds in the Western Conference, their disciplined approach has made this happen and it is down to hard working forwards like captain Dustin Brown as well as their rear guard. Alex Pietrangelo is a doubt with what's being described as an 'upper body' injury, Pietrangelo was checked in to the boards by Kings forward Dwight King but it looks unlikely that King will face retrospective suspension. It's a big blow to the Blues to lose their top D-man and the incident may have created some ill feeling between the two teams. As always with these two you have to back a game of few goals and if St Louis tighten it up just a little bit overtime will be in the offing at 3.60. Game 1 between New York and Washington was extremely edgy before the Rangers managed to break out in the third to win by two goals. Rookie Chris Kreider hammered home the game winner and is becoming a bit of a cult hero for Rangers fans during these playoffs, he hadn't played an NHL game prior to being brought in to play against Ottawa. Remarkably there were only 32 shots on net during the entire game on Saturday but the goalies will be expecting to be much busier tonight. Go for the Rangers again here, they battle for everything and wear teams down. That said, the Capitals with a +1.5 start in the handicap betting is also a solid option at 1.38. Best Bet: New York Rangers to win in regulation at 2.00
