NHL Betting: Resurgent Kings To Royally Blitz Minnesota Wild

Anaheim Ducks 2.20, Draw 3.80, Boston Bruins 2.85 (BET and STREAM LIVE at Unibet TV from 03.05 GMT)

Leaders of the Atlantic and Pacific divisions collide in Anaheim territory with the Ducks aiming to stay airborne at the expense of the Boston Bruins.

Both are riding a couple of wins though Boston experienced more wins in their two outings before the turn of the year than Anaheim have felt since their first game of December - that's 13 victories from 14 and it's hard to find a Duck that isn't currently playing out of his skin.

Back in October it took a shootout to separate them at TD Garden eventually by the hands of Jarome Iginla but to recreate that the Bruins would have to be just the third club to take two points from Honda Center this season.

Jonas Hiller has been the unsung hero of their incredible run. After starting the season in disappointing fashion, the Swiss goalie has won the last 11 times he's started between the posts. It seems you can hardly go wrong with taking Anaheim at home and Boston's reputation proceeds them as they have evened up the odds more than usual despite being fairly cold out on the road, back the Ducks at 2.30.

Los Angeles Kings 1.80, Draw 4.00, Minnesota Wild 3.80 (BET and STREAM LIVE on Unibet TV from 03.35 GMT)

Jonathan Quick's timely return from injury helped his LA Kings bust out of a five game losing streak against Vancouver on Saturday, the Minnesota Wild stand in the way of them making it back to back successes.

That vital victory though was more about their offence breaking the shackles, creating a series of major chances and troubling the scoreboard more than twice for the first time in seven attempts. Such is the goalie depth the Kings possess within their organisation that they've had to return Martin Jones to the AHL despite the rookie allowing just 15 goals in 11 starts, even with that poor run of form LA rank as the best defensive team in the West.

The Wild also recently busted an extended barren run but once again all their good work is being done on home ice, by record they're the second worst road side in the league and have taken just one of their last ten on their travels.

That a recent injury to captain and leading scorer Mikko Koivu as well as dynamic wing Zach Parise aren't the worst Mike Yeo is currently contending with says a lot about a bleak situation, goalie Josh Harding has been nothing short of outstanding but with him unavailable duties are left to Niklas Backstrom to try to take back his starting spot long term.
Combine that with LA appearing to have their mojo back and I think the Kings get through comfortably tonight.

Best Bet: Los Angeles Kings to overcome -1.5 goal handicap at 2.60.
