NHL Betting: Winnipeg Jets to fly past Montreal at a great price

Washington-Detroit - BET and STREAM live on Unibet TV from 17.35

Two nights after Detroit squeezed out a 4-3 shootout victory they'll meet the Capitals again this time at Verizon Center. Patrick Eaves was the only one of 14 shooters to score but that was enough to get the Wings a vital extra point.

Washington have spent eight of their last nine games on the road and won just two of them, so even though their recent record at home isn't too much better I'm sure they'll be glad to hit home ice.

It took Joel Ward's equaliser in the final ten seconds to seal them a point. Detroit were much the better team through three periods though and the shot counter ended up 45-29 in their favour, which Michael Neuvirth certainly noticed in the Caps' goal.

Head Coach Adam Oates praised his side's resolve to get that late goal, though I'm surprised he wasn't a little more critical when being outdone even strength continues to be an issue.

A trio of ties could be completed at 3.80, but I'll back Detroit inside regulation at 2.85

Montreal-Winnipeg - BET and STREAM live on Unibet TV from 18.05

Coming off an overtime loss yesterday afternoon, the Canadiens can't be too excited to take on the pumped up Jets who bounced back to knock off Vancouver on Friday.

Daniel Briere scored Montreal's only goal of the game as their offensive issues returned. Briere has now registered in consecutive outings after scoring twice in the 24 games before that.

With guys like Lars Eller, Tomas Plekanec, Brian Gionta and even PK Subban struggling for production, there's too many scoring slumps going on at once making the Habs attack look very incoherent.

Their lack of threat was in stark contrast to the exuberance Paul Maurice had instilled in such a short time with Winnipeg. He's now overseen 31 tallies in nine games but also so much more time spent on the front foot.

To get a point lately Montreal have need their goalie to allow one at the most by him. It'll surely be backup Peter Budaj getting the start here and whilst he's more than capable, banking on him to steal the game may not be the best idea.

Out at 3.05 I see another Jets win as a great option.
